"We are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence. I am not remotely interested in just being good."
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet...
"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

I was born and raised in Athens, GA...
Growing up I attended my grandfather, Howard Conine's, church, New Covenant Worship Center. My wife Jennifer was born in Louisiana but was raised in Lula, GA from the time she was around 6 weeks old. Growing up she attended Assembly of Praise in Lula. We have been involved in student ministry in some capacity of leadership/pastoring for 20+ years and have been married since 2011. We have 2 athletic boys and one little princess.
FAITH, FAMILY & FOOTBALL.
We do engage in other sports but football is our favorite. Most evenings you can find us on a football or baseball field. Pretty soon we will be adding gymnastics to the mix.
Our passion is and always has been student ministry. My love for student ministry and football collide with the football team at East Hall, as I volunteer through FCA, as their team Pastor/Character Coach. I am also the team pastor for the wrestling team this year.
We are called to fulfill the Great Commission.
We want to see students of every race, economic status, and social class to not only come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, but we want to disciple them and help them to step into their calling. We are training up a generation of World Changers in a world that needs changing.
We are excited to see God's plan unfold in each student’s life individually and corporately.
“I think that if God forgives us we must forgive ourselves. Otherwise, it is almost like setting up
ourselves as a higher tribunal than Him.”
― C.S. Lewis
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for

Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my
witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth.””

“I don’t sing because I’m happy...I’m happy because I sing!”
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety. He is my God, and I trust him.

If you laid in the floor and didn’t do another thing for Me, I couldn’t love you less and if you got up and did a million things for Me, I couldn’t love you more. I love you because I made you and just because you are you. - God
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
