Men's Ministry

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

1 Corinthians 16:13

The AP Iron 2 Iron Men's Ministry seeks to help men connect with God, their family and other men for the purpose of fostering relationships in Jesus Christ. We seek to provide opportunities for men to disciple and train other men, resulting in an accountability and a deepening of relationships with their family, their church, and with God.  We also commit to help men through the many challenges of life.

Keeping Jesus' two supreme commandments, "love God and love people" as our guide, we commit that any activity or ministry we sponsor will be purposeful, excellent, and balanced in the following areas:
  1. Affirmation - Men encouraging and teaching each other about God and His Word.
  2. Quality Time - Men spending time with each other getting to know each other's wants, needs and desires.
  3. Gifts - Men giving to those in need in the community through money, time, etc.
  4. Acts of Service -  Men working together to address needs of the church and the community through projects and small group efforts.
  5. Physical Fitness - Men using sports and exercise to build meaningful relationships with each other, i.e. basketball, golf, canoeing, etc.
All activities will support the work of the church and may consist of one or more of the fundamentals of a healthy church including worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism, and ministry.
